Perfexly can be extended with integrations, but accounting integrations should only be enabled after credentials, sync direction, and workflow testing are clear.
Current setup
- Professional and Business currently use the built-in Accounting module and Account Balances tools.
- QuickBooks exists in the module library but needs app credentials and careful sync testing before public use.
- Xero and FreeAgent are not currently live public integrations in this setup.
Recommended approach
- Use Perfexly as the daily CRM and customer-work workspace.
- Export or connect data to external accounting tools only after you know what should sync.
- Decide whether customers, invoices, payments, items, or expenses should be pushed to the accounting package.
Before enabling an integration
- Test with a non-critical account.
- Check duplicate handling.
- Confirm currency, tax, customer, and item mapping.
- Review who is responsible for fixing sync errors.
Good to know: Accounting integrations are powerful, but a bad sync can create more cleanup work than manual export.
